Can I be really lazy and not type out anymore disclaimers? I'm sure by now it's a known fact that I'm doing this for fun and that I do not own D.N.Angel...

“Are you looking for me?” the beautiful girl asked Janice.
“Are you… Fredrick?”
“Welcome to my world.”

Joyce sneezed for the fifth time since she arrived. It was snowing and there was nothing in sight except for the exceptionally tall castle that she has wanted to ignore if she could. However, if this is the only place that she can go, this must be the only place where she can find her best friend.
“Halt!!! Who goes there?” a man shouted out from the castle gates.
Joyce stopped abruptly and raised her hands as a sign of being a friend and not a foe.
“I lost my way around here and I’ve lost my partner,” she said to the guard.
Suddenly, stinging cold wind together with snow blasted against the castle. The cold was making her lose her touch and in the numbness, she could feel herself being held tightly by the wrist. Somewhere in the snowstorm, she could hear the guard speak.
“She has spoken. Bring in the intruder.”
As she felt herself being dragged along by one or two other people, Joyce could feel her heart dropped right into her stomach.
“Great! Maybe, I’ll be killed even before I can find Janice… Just great…” she thought to herself.

Janice leaned against the bridge and looked at Fredrick with admiration. Fredrick turned out to be a sweet and straightforward girl around the same age as Janice is. She had shoulder-length hair with little natural curls at the end and had a smile so mesmerizing that anyone would immediately take a liking to her.
“Do you know that in my world, you and Eleanor are a couple in a fairytale?” Janice said to the girl.
“Oh really, that’s kind of nice in a certain way. This town that you see now is the town that I remember from my memory. But soon, this town will disappear,” Fredrick said, gazing sadly at the town.

“I need your time,” Fredrick told Joyce in reply.
“What’s the use of getting Janice here? She can’t help you at all. She doesn’t even belong here?” Joyce said loudly so as to boost her courage.
She was brought to the girl by the guards roughly through a maze of stairs and corridors. She tried to remember each way she took but soon gave up. Everywhere looked the same. As soon as she reached the room, the guards disappeared suddenly. Much to her surprise, she had expected to see a beautiful young girl of maybe long hair and cute looks. But Fredrick has short hair and wore only a plain dress. She had a mature face and looked very solemn.
“Because I need you. I can only do this… I don’t have any more time left. I can’t wait any longer for him…” Fredrick’s voice trembled as she spoke.
Joyce could feel sadness slowing seeping into her as she watched Fredrick repeat her words again and again. Fredrick didn’t cry but the painful expression on her face made Joyce wanting to cry for her.
“Give me… your time…”
The fairytale started to play like a silent movie in Joyce’s mind as she felt herself falling asleep. Scenes of Eleanor leaving Fredrick, Eleanor’s death, Fredrick’s sacrifice for Eleanor and their final words.
“There’s no such thing as forever. Nobody could stop time. And you knew it…”
“Please…” Fredrick cried.
