Yoz~ finally blogging... Would have loved to rant on my job, but shall leave that till another time

For the first time in ALP's life, she's experimenting her lappy with a lan cable! woo hoo! Haha~

Currently at Hitatchi building, doing a group project. Was late (well, everyone was, i suspect only one of them was on time). Now in a meeting room, enjoying aircon/fan while the others go and da bao their bfast. Wish that it will end early sia.... more like, wish everyone would be alert so that I can dun say anything and just nod my head at instructions. "Dekiru..." *nods*

We are now trying to clear a project that is due in 3 wks time, and I was given the explanation of "If we finish the project fast, then we will have time do LJ and study for exams." And somehow, having 2 projects going simultaneously seem to be adding some pressure to the group members. What's bad is that ALP feels no sense of urgency. What's even worse is that it's ONLY her that feels that we should make full use of the 3 wks for our projects instead of chionging it.

I'm feeling rather short-changed now cos one of the grp members have applied leave every mon and fri to clear his leave. This means he has SIGNIFICANTLY more than the rest of the girls who are working. And yet, I feel he is doing lesser work than he should. It seems that the girls were impressed with the simple fact that he came up with a very nice and extensive draft for our report. I'm assuming that he just copied and pasted everyone's work, but somehow, I feel the other girls aren't working as hard and precisely that's why they were impressed with him cos he came out one big chunk of the introduction for the report. Sadly, I deleted that big chunk :p Here's another evidence: they seem pretty happy with the fact that ALP came up with an extensive contents page. Weird. Very weird.

I seriously wish they have the guts to show their procrastination power. Damn, I'm the only one complaining about not having enough time for the project (and for my playtime). I can only conclude that ALP is having a difficult time to switch to SOCIAL MODE. Ie, be sociable. Ie, understand and know that the rest of the world is moving at a different pace from hers. Ie, understand that people finds chionging project for the sake of 'more time' sensible. Ie, understand that nobody's going to point out that there's something going wrong with the 'supposed' leader of the group. Ie, ALP has to make extra effort to speak up and make changes.

OK, rant mode.
When I first read the draft from their first meeting which I missed cos I was terribly sick, almost wanna puke blood. Dunno they spend so much time over there for four hours for what sia.... the introduction was totally irrelevant and out of the way. The content was literally copied and pasted. The analysis had no prove/evidence/reference. Fine, maybe I'm being a bit extreme here. Probably ALP really has to switch to 'it can be more perfect, but somehow, the ppl are too tired to bother with that.'

I personally find injustifiable if we chiong our project AND come up with a sub-quality piece of work and share a C or B. It's like if we procrastinate and do something last minute, getting a C or B is reasonable sia. But if we have so much time, can we pls do sth more constructive for the project??? Later will have to look at what they've come up for the rest of the report. It's mainly based on analysis and some references.... hope it turns out OK.

Haiz~ I dun like to reports for management projects. There are many factors to consider and ur reports are subjected to only one person's interpretation and marking. Without a realistic situation, and doing for real, I just can't find the damn effort to work hard on it. Possibilities keep popping out in my mind and yet I have to push them away and tell myself, 'it's a project nia, dun nid to think so much...'

OKOK, should stop ranting before the breakfast grp comes back... And I already told the other lady who walked into the office together with me. 'They confirm come back after 30 mins. (and that's an understatement)'

Guess what? ALP is right!

Damn, I seriously need to snap out of my ultimate NEET mode and start compromising even if it means a lose-lose situation.

BTW, can't believe I got a C for my report on HRM and yet get a A on it. Damn, was expecting the other way round, but I'm happy either way cos the exam has a heavier weightage. *shrugs*

A short entry again~ Blogging right now cos waiting for hair to dry.

Will be in school from mon to fri till I'm officially dead. Good news is that the lecturer says the main assignment for MC can be done individually, but the discussion on the content must be in groups.

ALP's translation is: we all identify wat is required then all write the content of our own reports in our own way.

Seems that not many ppl are welcoming tat idea. Weird, I thought a lot of ppl would like writing assignments alone... *shrugs*

ALP is tired........... listening to BL drama La Vie En Rose~ My dear Mikishin~~~ Uke Mikishin~~~ I realised.... Seme Mikishin disrupts BL plot with his monologue! Ie he speaks and speaks while the uke moans in the BACKGROUND! >_<

Er.... tat's random.... i go rest liao~
