Yoz~

For the last 2 days, i have been working in Orchard Popular..... The people there were nice, a little hint of cheena-ness in the air, but other than that, the outlet seems fine. At first, I called the HQ using the number i got in a booklet i got from the career fair. The lady recommended me to called up Orchard Popular as that outlet has 10 vacancies.... I called up and arranged for an interview on the next following day.

It wasn't much of a interview coz all i did was listen to the asst manager talk abt the job. I remember very clearly that she told me this, "I'm putting you into the stationery dept but you have to understand that sometimes you might need to go help other departments when they are short-handed.' I was alright with that.
On the next day, after the manager's briefing, he asked my supervisor if she wanted to put me into the Receiving room (the place where we receive stocks) since inside there shorthanded and she said yes. I was ok with that.....

The first day was fine... this guy called Kai Liang taught me how to sign the invoices when the suppliers are here with the stocks, how to check the stocks, how to price-tag the stuff with the gun-like looking thing etc..... and then i started out checking stocks until lunch time.... and continued to check stocks until dinner time... and continued to check stocks until it's time to go home.... The job is tiring, but I dun mind, coz it's kind of own time own target with no one staring at you as if you're a time bomb that can go off anytime. The problem is I dun have enough time to sleep!!! By the time i get home, i have to bath, wait for my hair to try, use the internet while trying to stop myself from using it too long..... And Morning came too early for me....

The next day, I reached the outlet on the dot, 10.45am. The manager did the briefing and then we started to work. My supervisor was off and I had to return to the Receiving room. Alright, I said it was a fun job, but it was tiring too..... Coz my excercise-deprived left arm was aching like hell plus the fact that I was too stressed to sleep after knowing Lionel got the letter from NIE.

Then Addecco called. Employment Agency. With an almost confirmed job. 'Tuas, 9-5, 5 day week, with transport allowance.' My dream job!!! I said yes almost immediately, went for lunch and then told the manager i wanted to quit after lunch..... It's a little tad pity to quit coz the people there were realli fun, nice to me and most importantly, young!!! hahaha...... at last! someone plays Ghost Online!!!

Today is my first day of work in Croda. Had to wake up at around 7am and prepare myself for week..... I was still struggling to sleep at 1pm coz the thought of Lionel's letter was still torturing me.... Terrible lack of sleep.....

I got to the Jurong East Interchange and asked the counter selling tickets for the bus into Jurong Island. Asked the auntie at the counter who told me to ask the ticket collector who told me to follow the lady in front of me who was boarding the bus. She said immediately, 'You're Lay Peng right?' I just nodded and sat next to her.....
I told her that I needed to look for 'Anne' and she pointed to me 2 seats from my right in front of me. I can only see curled hair. Detective ALP spots Auntie Anne!!! Disappointing, coz the lady sitting next to me was far better off.... I dun wanna report to auntie....

Then we chatted some stuff, mostly about me, my studies, my previous jobs and my boring life.... On the way to the bus's exit, the lady patted Anne and tried to tell her I was in the same bus and that I dun have an entry pass. The grumpy woman said angrily, 'I dunno! I dunno anything!!!' Craps.... she sounded like she was caught dancing naked with her gardener lover in her bedroom....
We got off at the checkpoint and the lady told me to get an entry pass first while she goes ahead first. The woman forgot to tell me when to get off the bus..... I only know it was either the 2nd or the 3rd stop. The problem was the distance between each bus stop far~~~~~~~~

SO WAS IT THE 2ND OR THE 3RD STOP?!!!

Genius me got off the bus at the 3rd stop..... and walked into the factory. As I headed to the guard house, the ladies who were going in too told me, 'Lay Peng, you need to get a pass first. Then later, go level 2 reception." o.O What the heck is going on? The whole world knows me!!! The security guard was nice to me (which was an extreme rare sight) and gave me my pass for the factory in exchage for the JTC pass I got at the checkpoint.

I was kinda curious so I kinda went in through the back. I went in through a door and realised I was in some kind of Lab. A girl caught me in the lab and said 'where are you going?' and then offered to guide me to the Reception through the lab~ Yeah.... I got a tad glimpse of the factory. A wet lab and a dry lab which I came to know later.
The girl at the reception counter recognised me immediately -let's say she's didn't recognise me so she knew it was me- and told me to fill up some forms.... After a few minutes, the lady who I met in the bus came up to the 2nd level and spotted me. She then told me that I will be seeing her later. OK....
She came, brought me to a meeting room and then left to get some stuff.... returned with my resumes and a page written about my job scope. 'Reports to Data Manager' blah blah blah.... When she was about to introduce her, she realised she forgot her namecard and took off again. Just when I was wondering what status was the ang moh in the opposite room, she came back with her name card.... ... ... ... .... ........ ..... WHAT?! DATA MANAGER? BEE BEE??? It just didn't occur to me that she's my boss!!! She's has not arrogant and she definitely doesn't have that 'i'm ur boss' attitude and atmosphere emitting from her....

ANYWAYS!!!! TOO TIRING TO TYPE LE.... TO BE CONTINUED :P

1. Find a full time job where I can stay around longer

3. Sony Vaio super flat laptop

4. Whole set of Gintama/Gravitation/Love Mode manga

5. Whole set of Onmyouji novel by Yumemakura Baku

6. Visit Jump Fest/Comiket/Kyoto/Touyako (to get that bokuto) in Japan

7. A bigger room. Even better; another room dedicated to my collection of books and manga

8. Get a specialised sth degree so that I can work freelance or something seemingly relaxing

9. Have my own comics rental shop or anime cafe

10. A really good AFA with Ishida Akira as Guest (or someone as good)

11. Relax. Just like Asakura Yoh

12. ...Natto

13. .... Natto and pudding. Maybe some whip?
